Bio:
Giantish plays uplifting music with chill grooves. We've been playing around Seattle since January 2023, including shows at numerous bars as well as a spot at Folklife Festival. Giantish has also played at numerous outdoor stages, including Community Through Unity, the Summer in Harmony Festival, and the Magnolia Summerfest.
Giantish is a Seattle-based music project led by singer/songwriter, Brad Chamberlain. Before starting up Giantish, Brad lived in Thailand for years, where he led a successful band, Jai Yen (“chill out” in Thai), which played numerous music festivals around the country, and in bars multiple times each week, for several years. Jai Yen put out four albums which are on Spotify, etc. Since moving back to the USA recently, Brad has been settling into the Seattle scene, primarily through playing the Open Mic circuit (these days especially at Conor Byrne, The Fremont Abbey, and Magnolia Music Space, which he also hosts). Giantish primarily performs solo, but has had several live-band variations over the years and we are always happy to play full-band gigs. Our first Giantish recording (2 song EP, "There's Beauty All Around") has been online as of Sept 10, 2023. A live, full-band recording is also available on Spotify since May 2025. Multiple albums from Jai Yen are also available online, archiving many of Brad's earlier works, several of which still feature in Giantish sets.
